We first discovered Quadra Island on a family vacation many years ago and kept returning to discover more of what the island had to offer. After four years of summer vacations, we took the leap of faith and moved here in 2005
to become permanent residents.
Best decision ever.
Perrywinkle Cottage was designed and custom-built as a vacation home where friends and family can relax, recharge and enjoy each other’s company in an environment that is peaceful and inspiring.
Located on the main floor is the fully equipped kitchen. There is a full-size fridge with freezer, stove and microwave as well as small appliances including a coffee maker, toaster and hot air popcorn maker. All cooking and eating utensils are provided.
The living and dining rooms are open and spacious, and the bathroom includes a walk-in slate-tiled rain shower.
The cottage has wireless internet service, a well-stocked bookshelf, board games and an impressive assortment of Lego! There is no TV on the premises.
Upstairs you will find two bedrooms. The master bedroom is an oasis of calm. At the completion of your day have a luxurious soak in the antique clawfoot tub or perch yourself in the window seat with a refreshing beverage and revel in the delight of a good book. Sleep deeply in the cozy bed and awake, refreshed, and ready to start another day of adventure.
The second bedroom is an open floor plan with three single beds. Two are adorable built-in beds with privacy curtains and secret reading lights within. Perfect for late-night reading without being detected. The two bedrooms are located on the second floor.
Rates are $225 a night
